AFTER attending to five calls in less than three hours on Tuesday, the Crewe section of the County Fire Brigade

received what was later found to be a "hoax" call to the Municipal Buildings in Earle-street. A man dashed into the Fire Station, gave the alarm and was not seen again. The Brigade turned out at 40-4 p.m., but on arrival could find no signs of a fire and returned 20 minutes late
